Jor-El's simulation shows Kal-El being sent to Oa, Raan, Thanagar and New Mars, and taking on the roles of Green Lantern, Adam Strange, Hawkman and Martian Manhunter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12464833.post-84595138419459237512010-03-14T13:00:49.112-07:002010-03-14T13:00:49.112-07:00The mental cruelty thing seemed to work well for L...The mental cruelty thing seemed to work well for Lois Lane in "Weep for Lois Lane's Baby" (Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane #96)!Jacque Nodellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14957976421163666671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12464833.post-32208720897315937062010-03-12T09:13:16.771-08:002010-03-12T09:13:16.771-08:00Wow, Dar-Lin? Interesting to learn that Kandor has an orphanage, though.

I like Kara as much as anyone, but honestly would being out of her presence for a few days really send not just one, but two sets of parents to the psychiatrist's couch? And wouldn't the time period following Argo City's destruction have been a longer separation? Why didn't Allura go stark raving mad during that period?

Hard to muster up much suspense over a "problem" that's so easily solved; just have Kara visit more often. Big whoop.

I don't have this one, either, mostly thanks to that cover, which even my Silver Age-loving 6-year-old son declares the stupidest of all time.
