I love this series (I just went through it) but I'm not sure Kang fits. Unlike the others, he's not cutting them slack or allowing them to live, he's just acknowledging respect for the foes--as I recall, he thoroughly defeated the team before having to turn around and enlist them against his traitorous underlings.
Fraser, you are 100% correct. But it had been a long time since I'd come across anything I could use for this category, so I bent the rules a little. My readers are too sharp! :)
